With great dismay and regret we received the sad news that Janez Trdina, our esteemed treasurer of many years and recently Vice President, passed away on 29 October 2018. Jani was elected to the Board on 26 April 2008.

Jani took over the finances of our association. Soon he also took over the work of our internet presence. We have always experienced him as a very content person who has made a great contribution to ESCIF and thus also shaped it. With him we have lost a friend who always met us with humor. We will keep Jani in best memory.

We wish his loved ones a lot of strength in this difficult time.
